Check Emission System (Intake?)

Hey guys,

Just installed my SRI for my V6 last week. (Well a buddy did). My check emissions symbol popped up today (about a week after). Is there something I should check out or should I bring to dealer.

Thanks!

I actually got this warning driving on an extremely rainy day (~6 inches of rain) while running a CAI and it scared the shit out of me. Turns out my car's gas lid wasn't "screwed until clicking" or something like that. Scared the hell out of me.

^ it might be the gas cap. I think this is a well known thing. It's probably just a false reading and should go away after a couple days if not sooner. Try tightening the gas cap though.

Try unpluging and repluging the sensor attached to the intake

Unless you think something is permanently broken, bringing the car into the dealer when modding should be the last option. They have a tendency to bitch about mods and "cry fault" any chance they get.
