alright, so i know this is a small thing, but kinda annoys me. when i lock the car, the 2nd time i press lock it beeps. but the beep sound is really low, its only audable when standing closely. anyway to make it louder without installing new ones?

mine is the same, wish it was louder.

 

hahaha. i feel the same way. the beep is so quiet, it doesn't serve much of a purpose unless im like 5 feet away from the car.

Also, is it just me or is the stupid remote for locking/unlocking has a very small range?

 

If I'm like 50 feet away from the car, it won't open the first click. From that distance, try holding the remote against a metal fence or column then press it, for some reason the signal gets amplified that way & I can click it from a long way off.

 

I wish it beeped on first lock.

 

Ditto and wish it beeped on unlock.

 

Yea, that would've been great too. At least they could've given us an option in the MID settings. Like 1 beep for lock, 2 beeps for unlock.
