I have a Acura TSX 2.4 2009 Navi EX, on my dashboard when someone calls me I see only the phone number, is there an option to see the name for that number?

I couldn't find any info on web or manual.

it is likely because the older navigation system does not have the ability to import your contact list into the navigation HD. The 2012 and up had a revised navigation that got rid of the disc changer in the dash. I have a 2010 and I wish i could see the number calling or name on the navigation screen like the newer models.

 

Mine 2009 TSX has import contacts feature and I can see the list of my contacts into the phone menu with the names, But when the phone is ringing only on the dashboard the numbers is displayed, on the navi screen there is nothing during a incoming call.Not sure is it by default or I have to set something.

 

2011 and up had the updated system and once you import contacts you can get the name and phone number displayed at least I know on the navigation screen it does.

 

But there are names into navi > phone menu, is there a solution (maybe some update of the soft) so the names to be displayed on the dashboard and the navy screen
