Anyone else like the new grill?

I think on certain colors the new chrome grill looks great. I've heard so much negativity on this subject, but on Basque Red I think it adds a touch of class. Any comments?

From the pics I have seen I like the grill on the darker colors better. Frankly I like the tsx grill better than the tl and I definitely like the entire exterior design better than the current US accord.

I actually think the TSX grill is decent looking because it is in proportion with the front of the car. The grill on the TL, however, is disproportionately large and dominates the front of the car. The TL would do well to have the same grill as the TSX.

The TSX has been out long enough so that people have gotten used to seeing the grille and they no longer recoil in horror. Its like when a pretty girl gets a radical new haircut, you might hate it in the beginning because its not what your used to but in the end you get used to it and even kinda like it.

The best part is that there are several options (paintmatching, getting JDM grille, getting sport JDM grille, MUGEN grille) so that if you aren't happy you aren't necessarily stuck.

I kinda like the chrome on my black TSX...

I don't mind it, but I definitely like it better paintmatched.

When pictures of the new TSX were first released last year I did not like it. It has since grown on me a lot. It definitely looks a lot better in person too.

Where can you buy Mugen parts in Canada? I am curious as I do like some of their after market stuff and debating if its worth ordering some...Or does being in Vancouver give you an edge to the Asian market?

I saw a Basque Red and a Palladium TSX over the last couple of days - I do agree that the grille does look great with these colors! In fact, the new TSX is a HOT looking car!!!

To me the new TSX is no longer a sporty car, but a family intro luxury car. I am happy to keep my 06. Acura should have stayed with the nimble sporty theme and not the bloated look it has now, but I guess they want young families now. Just turned in my 05 RL (fabulous car)for the new Nissan Maxima. Not a fan of this fang trend. Hopefully they will fire this designer and bring someone else aboard. Not saying the Nissan is a better car, but it sure is nice to look at and its sportier then anything Acura has at this time. When the lease is up on the Max, well see what Acura has to offer.

You families were doing fine with the size of the old TSX and TL. I don't know why they needed to turn the TSX into a TL and the TL into some large car that ISN'T and RL. I think they had the 04-08 cars just the right size.

Well said! I especially like the look of the new grill when painted black on a black car. I like it au natural on silver.

Even the 2009 TL is growing on me as I see them cruising around.

Yes, the new TSX's grill seems to work better than the new TL's one - most better integrated into the lines of the car.
