Kind of a random post since i am new I dont have full access to the site, my nam e is obert and I have a 2010 TSX. Looking for some info on upgrades for the supercharger I can start collecting. I am driving down to see Vit on the 27th for a full dyno tune for the stage one I just installed.

Here is my build thread on TSXclub
Obert's 2010 TSX Build Thread - Acura TSX Forum

I did not really see a intro thread that would allow me to say much so yeah, looking forward to learning and seeing everyone's car.

Thanks

Yeah i read he was getting 307, that's a nice improvement over stock numbers. Lots of $ to get to those numbers though. At least I have the kit already, upgrading to stage 2 will be another couple of G's

I'm thinkin maybe I would take a straight trade for a stock TSX with less miles... idk yet. Also, not sure how difficult to sell with the SC already installed.

I would try to sell as is.. then if not I guess I would take it off and sell the SC independently, and sell the 6MT TSX as stock.

I think you could sell your parts and just sell your car stock. Do a strait trade would only work if someone was looking for what you have already done. Sucks we put all this money into part and then try and sell and you get back half of what you put into it.

But that's normal I guess, just the stock s/c kit with flash pro is over 4g and then you add a tune and I had to wait over 2 months to get mine.

Why go through the trouble to add a super charger and then sell the car a short time later? I would keep it as a trophy.

I think Im still a year or so out with selling the vehicle. It's been a little bitchy lately.. Dropped over $800 fixing the Air Conditioning, and next the axles are going bad, and still no one knows that that grinding is on start-up... iunno.

Ready for an STi lol

I would think someone across the nation would like a TSX with a supercharger and tune already in place. Especially on a 6MT with black interior. Maybe not though

I would trade you for a straight trade for sure ^
I dunno how many others would though, and it'll be hard to sell the car with the mods all on it. You'd have to part it out.

Yeah sounds like you have the same car as I do but mine is a 2010, white on black, 6 speed tech package.

Thanks dude... Don't understand why a 40k truck would come with halogens, or a 50k BIMMER at that.. Any good or bad experiences out there with xenondepot.com?

No worries and I have used that brand before and I had no issues. There are ones that are super expensive I have used and have had no issues either.

One thing you might want to ask who ever you buy from if the car you putting them in needs a replay anything else to make them work right. I have ran into issues with new cars that need a replay or something that hooks up to you battery and to the hids to get them to work right.

Damn for some reason I can't remember what it's called that goes from your battery to the hids. You might be fine with just plug and play but I would ask them just to make sure before you do the install and find out you need something else to get them to work right.

Yeah I checked the jeep forums, some guys are running a seperate relay to power the bulbs plus the canbus resistor for flickering issues and auto on functions not working proper.. Some just using the stock power cables with just the canbus, the latter option sounds kinda sketch though..

A full conversion was on my list so I did every bulb you could replace with led. They don't have anything simple plug and play for the glove box or footwells. So those are the only stock ones left
