Damn Simon, that's not good. Flooding has been pretty bad lately in Texas. That was a pretty huge storm yesterday(last night for you) that I had to drive through from Houston-Dallas. It got scary for a little while. Downtown Austin got some really bad flooding too.

Yeah put stock wheels back on too if your car doesn't start. They'll give ANY reason to deny your claim.

Good luck bro. Although, your Acura has been quite a POS as of late with the airbag sensor and stupid battery terminal being

Damn, I sort of feel bad about calling MC out on his fingerless gloves when his car is doing a boat impression.

The Odywagon looks to be a bit less submerged though. Here's hoping both had good door seals and kept the funk out.

Get them to higher ground the rest of the week; it sounds like the rains aren't done yet (your neighbor's driveway looks attractive).

No problems here. I didn't get up to check this time but in the previous storms this year, I don't think I even got water above the curb. My house is on a higher side of the street and we've got a marina a few streets over that collects most of the surge.

Plus, I park in the driveway. And if I couldn't, you can be damn sure I'd be parking in my neighbors'. Bring a sixer or bottle of hootch to apologize/thank them after the fact.

Yeah, I decided not to risk going to work in potentially "dangerous conditions" and "possible flooding" today.

Daytime drinking FTW!

More water for the lakes!...

...and unfortunately the roads. My friend got stuck in Bastrop because of it.

All good! It gave me a perfect reason to take out my carpet to start my racecar build without my parents yelling at me about it Car runs fine, no water in the engine and no electrical problems whatsoever

I just posted in your build thread.

I guess as long as all the electronics are good, otherwise it would be a pain in the ass down the road.

Justin you're getting now what went through Dallas last night. My drive home from work was looking pretty scary. Power went out last night for a few hours too.
