Sure you can future proof, but why? When 4k content ACTUALLY picks up, these displays will be so much cheaper by then, AND you'll actually start seeing better quality displays. And perhaps more manufacturers will start hitting the 4K consumer display market, creating even more reason for cheaper prices. It makes more sense to get an LED 1080p display right now for a much cheaper price if you absolutely need a TV today.
They one they bought I think is a 65". Its a Sony Bravia.. Think it's usually around $4,000 but they got it for $2,500. A regular Sony 65" Bravia is like $1,900-2,000. They keep their TVs until it actually breaks (last one for like 6-7 years), so it'd still be less expensive to buy one now then sell it in 3-4 years and buy a cheaper 4k tv when 4k becomes more common
why do you think the leafs suck most of the time and keep raking in money
corporate sales. Leafs entertainment make the most money per game out of all the NHL teams, and you see quite a few empty seats because some corporate drone decided not to go.
I'm not gonna bother figuring out how our taxes ties into this, but it mostly comes from the inherent hockey heritage and season ticket holders not giving up their seats and passing them down to younger generations.

I agree. It's been 4 years since I graduated HS and there have already been like 2-3 people who I used to see around HS or knew from elementary/middle school passing away. One kid I knew OD'd the night of his birthday. Crazy shit.

if someone really wants the RSB you will have to make or contact progress and buy the reinforcement plates for the sway mounts. I will supply you GREASABLE ES Bushings and mounts but progress needs to sends you some extra plates. and they usually give you regular non greasable. im not taking it off until after the holidays.
