anyone know anything about cigarette cases? looking to get a cool one for my dad for fathers day, obv with engraving. probably gonna be that and one of those drive a ferrari things, just gotta find a good place around jersey. i was gonna do the 3 hour, 6 car exotic thing, but its 900 and he doesn't want me to spend that much so maybe for his 51st bday in oct.
currently looking at this case cause i like how they do the finishes and stuff, though i dont love the actual style of the case. i'd like the type that dispenses 1 at a time

Everything except the pads from Amazon, and everything except the backing plate offered free shipping. I also had a $5 gift card laying around so it was a tiny bit cheaper lol
The pads I got from www.autodetailingsolutions.net. A six pack of the Hydro Techs ran me $50, and they have a 15% off coupon as well (these pads are usually $10+ each, +shipping!, so this was attractive). What's great is the six pack is configurable... meaning you can choose whichever pads you want. You could get 6 of the same ones if you really wanted to, or any combination of the 3 different Hydro Techs. I read that they're really great so I wanted to give them a try over CCS pads.

I see a new one on eBay going for $99, but it still has 3 days. Going to see if I can win it. Now I'm just wondering how exactly you qualify for the lifetime warranty. I doubt I could just buy a broken one for cheap and expect to get a new one. Maybe there is a certificate in the box?
remov es more damage. sandpaper will go deeper than a buffing pad.
only use 105 if necessary. i guess you know that.
and wet sanding if 105 dont work.
but be careful there is only so much clear.
so if you get it in good shape now iCrap, next time wont need so drastic a correction.
also sealant and keeping that up as best as possible.

I've driven about 30 miles after i hit 0 range, so i'd say the reserve tank is more like 1-1.5 gals. warning light usually hits when my range says 50-60 miles left, so 2-3 gallons, plus reserve
Sounds good! Let me know how you like it when you use it. I think you sold me on the Griot's Garage polisher, they should give you a part of the sale

I haven't bothered with the research on the specifics of the warranty, but I'll let you know if/when I find out
Hmm. Maybe ours are different or we had different average mpg which made it calculate differently. I've filled up before right after it hit 0 and it was only 0.5 gallons.
Ohhhhh , I'm dumb. I was thinking it was 18 gal tank but it's really 18.5. According to my Fuelly account it was 17.57 gallons that I filled up that time. So it was roughly 1 gallon when I hit 0.

lol dave, post that pic of the receipt you sent me with the total gallons you bought.
Stupid question guys... is it bad to polish the chrome part of the grille? I'm going to put painters tape on the chrome trim, any plastic/rubber, emblems, door handles, and maybe even the gaps separating each of the panels/bumpers/etc.
I feel like I wasted money buying the Ultimate Compound and can just go straight to M205, since my car is MY13 and probably doesn't have severe enough swirls/scratches to warrant its use

We will see how lucky I get.
Check with Enkei, but in general with aftermarket wheels, lower offset wheels may be more concave (not progressively... but typically at some point the concavity changes).
Yeah it's the offset..
Just get the thicker rear sway bar and leave the front stock.. Since our setup is fwd you typically want to have it much stiffer in the rear for better balance i.e less understeer. iCrap has the progress rear sway and everybody who has installed it loves it on their cu2.. Great bang for the buck.. Heeltoe even has a DIY for it and a decent price. Prob gonna be my next purchase since the install is cake and it's really cheap for the gains you apparently get (and my walther ate into my car mod fund lol)

I used a heavy cutting pad.
So my car doesn't have the rear splash/mud guards (this one does). Do you guys think it looks better with or without them? I do however have the fronts.
I feel like having the rears adds a sense of balance, since the fronts are already there. But, I also feel like they aren't very nice. Thoughts?

Anyone know which fuse is for the ignition lock? Got outta school early so I figured I fix one of my dome lights(2/3 rows of LED's were out) and most likely blew a fuse doing so and now the key won't even turn lol. I remember I blew one last time, but that was just the accessory fuse.

eBay does you up the butt with fees man. I basically lost $40 off the $292 total sale and that doesn't include the cost of me shipping it out.
And that doesn't even include the losses I took before this. Some dipwad bought this car, then 35-40 days later opens a case against me saying the item was damaged due to shipping and I sold him the item with the wrong motor advertised (keep in mind I sold it brand new, still sealed). And I lost the case due to PayPal being gay as fuh and always siding with the buyer. So the guy ships me it back and the motor is the same as shown on the box, but he lied and wanted to return it because he literally melted the servo. So then I had to buy the new part for about $35 I think AND on top of that a new battery because the jackass kept that for himself which was another $15. And I take the hit because I sold it brand new in box and now it's used. Worst eBay experience for me ever.
