yeah check this out! My brother knew I had been eyeing this for a while! And everyone knows how crazy I am over carbon fiber. This was my grad present from my brother. It's a Sig Sauer- Mosquito .22. Pretty light weight, small and perfect for concealing or keeping in your car!

Also, I took the free Hunters Safety course that the FWC puts on a couple times out of the year and that counts as a "gun safety course" so you can apply for your CCP. So then you only need to pay for the application fee.

Now I have my CCP and I've taken hunters safety course so I can hunt if I so choose! I hear that there are huge bucks in OH, and duck/qail are really good up there.

Nice Sig!!! Yeah I wanted to keep it sub compact to keep in the whip when I'm carrying my racks on racks on racks from my biz to the bank but wanted more knock down then a 22. Almost jumped on a springfield xds 9 but went with the pk380 cuz I couldn't beat the price I got.

Yeah, I have a beretta 92FS also which is a 9mm and holds 15 rounds but it's not a small handgun by any means. The fact that .22 ammunition is really cheap and readily available made it a good choice for me. For a year there I couldn't get 9mm ANYWHERE!!

I figure that with .22 there is very little recoil and you can unload an entire mag in less than 5 seconds with really good accuracy. If I haven't taken him down by then I would say I never stood a chance to begin with haha.

You'll like that pk380. I've fired it before, feels really similar to the .40 glock.

Windows 8 is shit. Just bought a new laptop, got it last weekend... decided update it tonight and now it's stuck in the dreadful "Failure configuring Windows update" boot loop. Good job Microsoft..... Good job....

Just ordered a Griot's Garage DA, Astro Pneumatic 4607 5" backing plate, Lake Country 5.5" Hydro-Tech pads (cyan for compound, tangerine for polish, and crimson for wax cuz I'm a lazy bish), Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (I read that M105 might be too aggressive for noobs), and Meguiar's M205. Already have Collinite 845 at home. Cost me about $240 in for everything.

First time polishing! Can't wait

Any reason why you decided to go with Griots garage polisher? Main 3 I've looked at were the PC, Meguiars and Griots. I read a lot about the Meguiars quality not being so great so I took that out of the running. PC is a little cheaper so I'm just gonna go for that. Polishing is expensive!

Ergonomically, the Griot's has a rubber palm grip as well as a rubberized handle. As lame as that sounds, I've read this makes polishing easier. Remember, you have an entire car to work on, so these little things will likely come in handy.

Power: 850W motor. PC is weaker in this area.

Also, one of Griot's Garage DA's best perk is its lifetime warranty. If it breaks, I get a new DA for the cost of shipping. I don't think I'm ever going to be pro enough to upgrade to a rotary, so this bit is awesome.

The PC 7424XP is tried and true, but I think it's a bit of an old product now. I have seen people use their retired (from paint polishing) PCs as carpet cleaners and such, by attaching a brush instead of a pad.

Likewise I've read a few stories where the Megs have failed/broken down, so I stayed away from that. But yes the Griot's Garage DA is a little more expensive

I like 8.1 so far. It feels a little weird but they really nailed the interface for people using dual screens. As well, I think they did a good job with their apps. I love the linked mail app. Now I don't have to constantly open chrome to check email and login to all my mail accounts.

Interdasting. I actually like their policy about warranty, but watch shipping be like $100 just kidding. Where did you order your stuff from?

Everything except the pads from Amazon, and everything except the backing plate offered free shipping. I also had a $5 gift card laying around so it was a tiny bit cheaper lol

The pads I got from www.autodetailingsolutions.net. A six pack of the Hydro Techs ran me $50, and they have a 15% off coupon as well (these pads are usually $10+ each, +shipping!, so this was attractive). What's great is the six pack is configurable... meaning you can choose whichever pads you want. You could get 6 of the same ones if you really wanted to, or any combination of the 3 different Hydro Techs. I read that they're really great so I wanted to give them a try over CCS pads.

It's actually really hard to mess up paint with a DA polisher, no matter how rough the compound is.
