What TV package have yall bundled? Do you like it?
I have ATT and my parents have had it for years. It's pretty solid. The interface and guide are better than Time Warner.

Alright cool. Hopefully this U-verse thing is all that it's cracked up to be. Originally when I entered my apartment address they said they could only offer me DSL internet. I was like uhhhh no 6mbps is NOT gunna cut it. That technology has been around since I was 10 years old.

What TV package do you have? I was looking at U200+Max Plus+HBO offer. Seems eqv. to what I have right now. So does this box just stream TV to all the TV's in your house?

No idea what package have at our house currently. I torrent all my shows because it's easier than scheduling the DVR. I think the way my parent's boxes work is there is a central hard drive in the living room for the DVR. All the other rooms pull the recordings from the main box by magic.

hmmm interesting. The setup I have now, I just have one HD box and I have an HDMI splitter so I can watch TV in my living room or my bedroom without having to pay for a separate box. I'm hoping to set something like this up in my new place too.

The u-verse thing should be alright.. but i would expect horrible ping times and slow upload. (it goes off the cell service right?)

Uverse has a 250gb limit on their broadband in my area. And no it doesn't run off cell service, it runs off the underground phone lines (I think).

what does that mean a 250gb limit? the amount of data that can be downloaded and uploaded by the whole community? per day? per month?

Upload said up to 6mbps.. kinda sucky. I get 15 right now. But I do way more downloading than uploading.

For normal people (even heavy torrenters) downloading 250gb/month is a shit ton.

yeah but 250 GB for a community of 500 people would def not be enough. If it was 250 a person that would be plenty for most people.

Should be per account. Unless you have 500 roommates.

icrap How do you get close to that per month? 250gb is pretty sizable. Are you watching the 25gb bluray rips or something?

When I torrent a lot of shows in a month, I go beyond 200 GB.

Sharing this bandwidth with a community of 500 also amplifies the amount of risk involved with overage fees.

Consider that one time you left 1 or 2 torrents running overnight, seeding the crap out of your Game of Thrones episode. How many upload-gigs did that run you? Now take this risk and multiply it by 500 people. 250 GB/mo for 500 people is definitely a no no.

Well i'm an exception to what most people do.
I torrent a lot, yeah, but I also run web servers and remote backup / FTP servers.

Although I'm not proud of it, this. Plus there are more risks involved with actually seeding something rather than just deleting it as soon as you have downloaded it.

dont know if any of you like craft brews; but its pretty big here in Texas.
anyway, i tried a sour beer from a local brewery this weekend. loved it so much, bought a 32oz growler home.
the beer is called Cherry Sour from No Label brewing co.

I heard my brother come home late night on saturday and went into the fridge.
He went straight for the growler as i heard it open with PSSST!

he took one sip and was like GROSSSSSS! Someone must have left this beer outside in the heat, its so sour.

i bet he'll think twice before drinking my shit! lol

yes its 250gb per month, no that's not w download limit.. Its the bandwith you get per month, after that they may warn you/charge you. In other words its how much internet you can use a month, Comcast also does this but Comcast will give warnings and not charge you so easily (unlike att)

Hey ladies, was in Atlantic City for the weekend... Man was that WILD! I experienced my first actual HOT day of the summer out there & when I tried to use my A/C in AC (lol) it wouldn't blow cold air. I actually think the condenser or compressor wasn't even turning on. Checked fuse 16 @nd it was fine. Anything else I should check for?

I'm getting it installed at the stealership. But they charge $434 ($565 w/ installation) vs. $310 on Amazon. Parents are getting it for my birthday gift, so I'm not paying.

Just ordered the LED's.. Not sure what other mods there are that won't void the warranty. Is there any difference in sound with the RV6 downpipe? Fujitisibo Exhaust is like $2k

It's funny to see how everyone has something different on their mind. Joe's looking for a TV/Internet service, VR1 wants a spoiler, ISeeYou is worried about his A/C, Justin's brother drank his crappy beer, I want a buffer.
