How much did they cost you? Yeah I did, I mean they don't have many differences it seems so I'm unsure, guess it's all preference?

Some are a bit better.... I got them for $580 not including mounting and balancing. There's also a disposal fee in my state I believe.

Whoops. Misread what you had written, I thought you said to compare those two on tirerack. Yeah there are better tires, but I'm choosing between those two because those are the ones that Costco offers. Lol. It doesn't need anything sporty, it's just driven as a DD. Any Michelin's are going to be an upgrade over the stocks. Current tires sound like doo-doo when you drive the car.

I bought some Nexen N7000 225/35/20 for my truck. $500 mount/balance/alignment all included.

Crabman - I have Titan 20s on my frontier.

Oh i see. Yeah Michelin's may be better... but you are paying more for the name.
Go on Tire Rack and sort by comfort / quiet and see whats the best value in that category and go with that at costco (if they have it) tire rack may even be cheaper (it wasn't in my case though)

Yeah because of shipping it's more expensive on tirerack and that doesn't even include having them mounted and balanced. Plus Costco offers free mount and balance, tire rotations, nitrogen inflation and flat repairs (if they can't fix they give a prorated price). All in all it's a good deal.

Actually it's not technically free, but with their $70 off Michelin tires when you buy 4, you basically pay just for the tires.

Anyone know how long is a safe time for me to keep my trunk open? I need to air out my trunk, my Acura battery obviously is not original but is very healthy, and I will start the car for 5-10 minutes before I leave the trunk open. So how many hours can I leave it open, 3-5 hours?

Your interior lights will turn off after like 5 minutes. I don't think anything else will draw power while open.

Not sure what all they would be able to change on a tire and the ones I've seen on tirerack are the same model. Most of the time what I've seen is the model #'s maybe different, but usually in a wholesale place they end up offering more. Like a 3D TV can come with extra pairs of glasses or something that a place like Best Buy wouldn't offer. I don't think it necessarily means they will cheap out on it. IDK if that applies to Walmart. Plus Costco has great customer service. If you aren't happy, they usually take anything back as a return.

Any last thoughts on Primacy vs Defender? The one near me has 11 Primacy and 3 Defenders left, so I have to order 1 (takes 3 days). I think more people just get the Defender because it will last longer. I'm still thinking Primacy because I think it's a better overall tire, the guy also mentioned that too. Probably won't even keep the car by the time it needs a next set of tires.

Ohh I'm well aware of costcos good buys, I have a membership, and a sonicare toothbrush set, and that Stanley mini shop vac, and an industrial bakers rack for my car goodies, and groceries, and on and on I love costco lmao I just never bought tires from them, I have gone the walmart route once with my old accord and those tires were shit. Maybe costco is better.

Lol, I got the Sonicare toothbrush a few months ago when they gave $30 off. Great buy. Yeah Costco is the shit, we also have Sam's and BJ's also, we are kind of wholesale whores lol. Which tires did you buy from Walmart?

Also, RIP TSXy.

Thought this thread was done for like TSXy.

In other news, someone keyed my friends 08 Red Accord coupe. He was pretty pissed about that. I'll get some shots up later. The worst part is it was parked in employee parking, so someone at his workplace did it and he probably won't find out who.

And I got my phone back on Friday after a week without it. Everything was going smooth until the day after where someone called me and complained they couldn't hear me. Looks like the mic was ruined in the process of fixing it. Fucking HTC man, last phone of theirs I buy. Their quality control is complete shit. I better get a replacement phone, no questions asked.

I scraped the hell out of my underside of my car riding a curb as I was making a tight right turn. I scraped off the undercoating all along the lower edge under my car. Do I just get the plain old rattle ran of undercoat spray or is there something better?

I need to buff/wax my car, ever since I got it back after it was rear ended there's been a bunch of swirls in the paint. But I either don't have time, or if I do have time I get lazy and don't do it.
