Soooooo

I bought chromecast. I like it so far. I see what you mean about needing more support with apps and stuff but it will probably get there eventually.

Annnd I was able to get it to turn my TV on but it doesn't switch to the right input. What am I doing wrong?

Went on the highway today, right before going on it I reset the MID mpg counter and I got 37.4MPG, that's great! But just wondering, is A/C a factor in the MID? I know that it's better running A/C because of drag of course.

the A/C turns off at WOT.
but only at WOT.
(Wide Open Throttle)

but when you reset the MID, it's not accurate because the average time is 00.00.

you'll need a longer drive/longer time to make an average.

Hmm.. I was at the stoplight before the highway, that's when I reset it and drove about 30miles.. Not even then it wouldn't be accurate?

I have a Vizio 42" LED (non-smart TV)

I refuse to believe that I can only turn on the TV and not switch inputs. They are both CEC controls so why wouldn't it be capable of both?

Fixed it... I guess the Cec settings were off. I thought it wouldn't even turn on the tv if it was off though

I fly up tomorrow to look for housing and come back on Friday.

My first day is June 9th so I guess I'll get all my junk packed a few days before the first day of my lease and then fly up the first day my lease starts. Maybe June 1st?

Anyone have any good ideas on how to move my Juniper Bonsai tree without killing it?

From what I read it has to be CEC capable and typically only the 1st HDMI port has this feature on VIZIO, but Im sure you already knew this.

Yeah, but I guess my Vizio just dosen't have that capability. Weird.. but no big deal since the phone has an IR blaster anyways.
