IMO Mercedes does have superior quality (older models) and superior technology (older models), BUT this is all my opinion as is yours and I'm always on the fence of BMW Vs Mercedes.

It's the same as saying Fuck the newer ///M5's and the E39 ///M5 is the best, yet I would still own a E60 M5 one day with the SMG (Complex and problematic transmission yet still sort of reliable).

I just meant it was better in terms of driving. Almost everything else is up for grabs. BMW is far from perfect. I remember when my dad wanted a car he was going for something like the X3 or RDX range, we drove the X3, but the first thing we noticed is how stiff and crappy the seats were (they might have changed by now, IDK, the car was an 2009 or 2010 I believe). Second to that is the bland dashboard. Just felt too simple when you get inside.

That is actually pretty cool by Mercedes to offer free lifetime roadside assistance, didn't know about that. Probably would come in handy considering their reliability.

Older Mercedes (like that one in the picture) are very reliable easily reaching 200-400k with simple maintenance, new Mercedes not so much.

That just made me wonder how cool would it be to have say BMW come along with Honda and make a car? Something like what Subaru and Toyota did with the FRS/BRZ. Assign Honda reliability concerns and give BMW driving dynamics...something that is reliable and fun to drive!

And that would work a perfect world, in the real word, Honda would probably make it boring and BMW would still screw something up. Lol.

I've got a porter cable. Plenty of videos on youtube.

I've been doing a lot of watching videos, reading forums, etc. I want something amateurish since I'd be my first one. I don't want something that could possibly ruin the paint, such as burn in. I think a dual action is made so the odds off you actually messing up are slim to none. On the other-hand a rotary buffer is one where you can mess up.

Which PC do you have? I assume it's a rotary one?

you cannot ruin your paint with a PC.
and there are only TWO models of the PC. an outdated one, and the current one....the XP.

if youve been watching youtube, and reading forums like you say you are, you would know this....

its literally the easiest thing to do; correcting paint. the only hard part is taking your time. although, taking your time equals better results.
I take 12 hours and longer to detail a car.

The reason why the PC will never burn through paint is because of the way it spins, or the lack of spinning.
also, because the way you posed your question...PC stands for Porter Cable.

PC will always = Porter cable.
and there are only 2 versions....

I never directly said that a PC can mess up the paint to be clear. I said a rotary buffer can. And I know PC means porter cable otherwise I wouldn't have used the acronym in my last post... I was asking him which PC he had, as in which model. I know the PC 7424XP is dual action, I really don't know about any other buffer they make. But it sounds like what you're saying is the only two buffers PC makes are both dual action and that's why you're saying no PC can ruin the paint.

I resigned from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems America. We are an Industrial Gas Turbine Repair and Manufacturing Facility. I specifically worked on repair components on the TURBINE section~~ So the Blades, Stator Vanes, and Ring Segments but did some work with components on the the compressor side as well as combustion components!

The cool thing was that all of the components I worked on had a direct correlation with ALL industrial aerospace technology (AKA- passenger planes/ jets)

Yeah.. I actually showed one of the managers the background of my iphone.. which was a pic of my TSX with the new grille I designed "~ I guess it worked!
