I concur with Ryan.

I use the thanks button as a like button.

My penis drawings are well "thanked" around these parts.

Permit (at least where i live...) means you still need an adult and can't drive from like 11pm-6am.

Not being able to drive sucks.

Yea I get what you mean 100%. My parents usually never want/need to go anywhere, and I aswell have my permit and love driving. Sometimes I make up random shit, like I forgot my calculator at a friends house, or I need some poster for some project or something. I still only drive like 7-15 miles a day though But when no one is home, I take the valet key (hid that shit the moment I saw it. I knew it would be useful someday) and just drive. Risky since if I get in a crash, or if I'm pulled over I'm basically f*****.

Quick story: Was driving around today, doing ~60 on 35 (The norm.) when a SHAWD TL flys past me maybe going 70-80. Just as I'm about to pull up next to him at a stop sign he does a burnout/peelout. Tried to catch him but it was no use, those SH-AWD TL's dont fck around. I did kill an IS250 today though, but I think the driver may have been retarded because he(?) was shifting WAY to early.

DUDE WTF everytime I drive alone (hundreds of times, even when I was 15) I obeyed all the laws and NEVER did 60 in a 35. THAT IS CRAZY, don't ever do that shit again. The best way to not get caught is to obey all the laws and only do 5 over MAX, hard to follow this rule but it must do. and I am very confident in my driving... Yet the only thing I am scared of is being rear ended, crashed into, or anything else crazy and unexpected. I drive a lot less now alone because it's not worth the risk of someone crashing into you... Try not to drive alone dude. I have only 4 months left till I get my license, not going to risk it many times, after all I used to go alone JUST to get coke every night a mile away (it isn't must but still very risky with a lot of cops around here).

So hungry, I didn't get anything to eat all day... Mom is sick and isn't cooking. Cousin said he'd drive me and pay for taco bell! and if my brother catches me driving (car gone from the driveway since my brother comes home at unexpected times like 1-3am or whenever) he'd tell my parents instantly.. He's a huge bitch. Seriously though, sick of this shit... Fuck the laws, wish I had some $.

Everyone in these parts do 40-55 on 35, easily. I've been trying to drift with VSA off lately but it hasn't been working; almost crashed once. I think I need a SC or TT setup for more powa. As you stated I'm pretty scared of getting rear ended etc.. So I don't drive solo that much anymore. If I listed all the laws I've broken (Racing, going 3x speed limit etc....) I'd probably be going to jail for a while. By Coke I hope you mean Coca Cola, becuase from all the reports I've heard, Cocaine will seriously **** you up.

lol, I have the driver 1 key but my parents hide it when they leave, so I use the Valet key.

Driver 2 is always with me . Lol don't break laws... If a cop needs an easy ticket you'll get you for 1MPH over... Yes coca cola. Try not to drive alone, I try my hardest not to, and I've done the same you have.. except for crashing, but that's because I don't want to go too crazy.

I'm still learning a ton about cars, and I would think since this car is FWD and only has 204HP in the Inline-4 that it's not worth modding...

lol, I'll be modding the shit outta this car. I think I'll be keeping it forever. I wasn't even supposed to get it to begin with. Totalled my 07 Mazda 6 (not my fault), and wasn't going to get another car. I told my parents that if I got a 4.4 GPA for the semester they would have to buy me a car. IDK how but I somehow did and now I have the TSX.

Lol, having a permit reminds me of my senior prom. The odd thing was that me and my friends for some reason got our permit at age 17 I believe and you are supposed to have it for one year until you can get your license, if I'm correct. So we had a group of 4 friends and we all were going to prom and none of us had a license, but my friend begged his parents for the car anyways. Little did they know that we decided to pregame on the way to prom. One of the guys had gotten some Vodka from his parents stash and also had someone buy him some 4 Lokos (terrible drink). So we all take turn with some of the drinks just to get a little tipsy, including the driver, while he was driving... We all were so paranoid with how much he was taking in that before he could even pour some in his mouth we were yelling at him to drink less.

That's when there is a red light and all of a sudden a guy gets out of the backseat of a Honda Pilot, walks a little with no balance like he's drunk and falls right in front of our car (and this is around 4 or 5 PM so we had no idea what happened to him). Luckily the driver slammed the breaks, but we were literally INCHES from running over the guy. Then someone that was also sitting in the backseat of the Pilot runs out and tries to pick the guy up. One of my buddies in the backseat had too much to drink already and was being a dumbass, so he gets out of our car and starts making a scene and asking the other person what happened to the guy and started asking if he was drunk. We all start yelling at him to get back inside the car so we can leave the scene.

Now that we are in college we look back at it and realize how dumb we were. Not only did the driver not have a license, but we were all underage drinking and the driver could have gotten a DUI...while having a permit. I don't even think I've ever heard of that happening to someone before.

Lol yeah it's not that we are even big drinkers. That was the first time I ever drank, but you know it's prom and kids want to try new things. But thinking about DUI is such a bad decision. In our case we just tried to get a little buzz, not hammered to the point where we would have gotten kicked out of prom. They also had cops there too lol.

About a month ago a drunk driver was going the wrong way on an interstate in a Ford Expedition and he went head on into a Sonata, there was a video on worldstarhiphop of the lady recording it happen. I think both cars burst into flames, the drunk driver died and he killed the 4 recent college grads too. My friend's dads co-worker was the mom of one of the kids that died in that crash. She had to be hospitalized because she was in such shock when she found out. She had literally got done talking to her son a couple hours before it happened and he said he was about to go to sleep, but that's when his friends told him they should go out and then a few hours later that happened. Such a sad story.

No idea, but it is pretty sad. I was looking at the IS250 also, but it's like why get that shitty gas mileage from a V6 when it only has 204HP when the TSX can do better with the same HP? It only has about 15 more torque than the TSX to I believe. So not a big difference.

Me too! I honestly can't stand either.

Is your car a 6 Speed SE? I wish there was a V6 6-Speed, SE, with tech... That'd be awesome.

I though it was impossible to lose traction with SHAWD?

OK how are you drifting a low powered FWD car? I'll give you a hint, you can't.
If you are trying handbrake turns that won't work either unless your on snow or grass or something. The TSX handbrake isnt very strong.

also crack is wack yo.

My 1996 firebird had a v6 with 200hp. It was nothing compared to the tsx v6. Getting 16mpg city with it was always fun.

Is your car a 6 Speed SE? I wish there was a V6 6-Speed, SE, with tech... That'd be awesome.

Mines the 5 speed AT. There is way too much traffic if I ever leave my suburb to get too Houston.

I should also probably say that most of the stuff I describe here I don't do on public roads; I have access to a large, gated parking lot courtesy of a friend.

omg my brain just died from reading the idiotic posts above. you young'ns trying to brag about what your "accomplishments" on the road is laughable. seriously...you're going to look back at these later and think "wtf was i doing" heed justin's advice. stop being dumb on the road. if you want to go 3x the speed limit, drift, whatever, do it in a controlled environment. ie track.

Yeah like I said, don't drive much without my parents. But VR1 and Icrap get me, it sucks having a permit and your parents are too lazy to take you anywhere... Drives me nuts, you car people just don't understand the struggle!

16mpg city isn't that bad... When E39 M5 owners really push their calls in stop and go traffic they get about 9MPG lol, I'm sure you'd get the same results with your firebird if you were pushing it that hard.
