Get some skirts, and the SE lip things for the front bumper. You'll be good to go.

 

I really want the skirts. Not a fan of lips in general on cars. I hate the harsh lines they make and in my opinion ruin the flow of the bumpers. I'd really like to get the 09/10 aero front but since GLM didn't exist then I would need to get it repainted = $$. Then I would need a new grille and get the euro grille.

These are my long term goals. I need someone to hit my front bumper and pay me cash like what happened with my rear bumper. Or find a beat up aero front in a junk yard/craigslist that I can repaint.

I was SO close to having someone hit me on Friday. I was at a red light and a Challenger with temp tags starts slowly rolling backwards towards me. I left a pretty big gap between us when I stopped so there was a lot of room. I wait a second for them to realize it, they dont so I do a quick honk. Still rolling backwards I quick honk again, and then again, and then I lay on my horn forever as they slowly roll backwards towards me. Then the light turned green when they were inches away from me and they were able to start accelerating. At this point everyone around me probably thought I was the biggest asshole ever for honking that much.

 

i had that happen in fla at a RR crossing. Old man in front of us started rolling back......i tapped the horn.....yelled out the window.....everyone around was watching and knew what was going on......and BANG/

so then the old man jumps out and starts screaming at me.....'you hit me' and thank goodness like 3 people opened their doors and told him, HE ROLLED BACK into me.

 

^was a a claim filed? I heard in Fl people getting screwed cause a rear end collision is always the other persons fault? Is it true?

Thanksgiving+weekend and whole Christmas week+both weekends. Going to try to meet up with Justin and whoever else one of those days and get some pho. We can get some rolling shots then.

 

i'll be gone thanksgiving week, starting this friday.

i dont joe......we were just visiting florida and there was no noticeable damage to either car.....it was like he had his foot on brake just not hard enough for the incline LOL

that's a common scam people try to do. they back into your car, tell the police you rear ended them and they either win insurance money or they'll be like "give me 500 bucks and i wont' report to insurance". there was a thread where that happened. the subaru driver had a dashcam that showed the guy (in a 1G tsx) rolled into him.

What do you guys do for squeaky brakes, even when the rotor and pads are still good?

Pretty sure that break dust is my enemy here. Heard some people blowing it off using compressed air (without removing the wheels or disassembling anything) and others spray some kind of solution... IDK

Honda turbo engine isn't that big of a surprise with their announcement of re-entering F1 in 2015 which will switch to turbos (though not the kind you think) next year.

What will be interesting is if they put it in the new mystery TLX.

So, I was on a long journey the last few days and a few things I've realized from my CU2...
I can drive for 9.5 hours straight on a single tank of gas.
Driving 80mph+ when it is raining on narrow, twisty mountain roads while occasionally passing cars and trucks is not only very dangerous, stupid, and risky, but also very fun :p That being said, I almost died once. Also, it really sucks when it is raining so hard that you can't see shit in front of you even with wipers on high. One more thing.. do not follow 18 wheelers closely unless you want to die in their wash.
