It was on eBay, came with double sided tape, I just used that and added some molding glue around the tape. But the body shop transferred it from my old trunk to this new trunk when they repaired it, so idk how they attached it.

Not necessarily. Some LEDs never "turn off" so they draw a bit all the time.

I think i posted this before, but i got my car back on friday and the dealer finally fixed everything free of charge..... Two problems were battery kept dying and grinding on startup.

The dealer said the car was drawing 60ma more than it should have. They said it was fixed after ECU reset (they also gave me a new battery).

They also replaced the VTC actuator. They said they didn't hear it grinding on startup so they did a "goodwill" repair for me.


They did call me and ask about the LEDs and did say they are not causing issues when i came back to get it.
