I bought one for $35 in the silver color and it's been sitting in my closet... thinking about just vinyl wrapping it myself. Will be much much cheaper.

If you send it to me, I'll Carbon fiber it for $50 not including shipping. I guarantee an amazing sheen!

I honestly think it would only look good on a CBP.

I was thinking about doing it to a roof spoiler if I ever bought one. I kinda wanna get my roof painted CBP too lol

Anyone got a link to the "No car wash" when you go to service your TSX at the dealer? Please let me know. Thanks!

What? All you do is tell your advisor you don't want a wash.

Well, just in case the word don't get through, it would be nice to have a sign up to not wash the car. I've read on Acurazine that someone made a rearview mirror sign so I'm trying to see if anyone can find that sign.
Thanks.

Why on earth would you want the dealer to not wash your car? I happily wait a hour+ for them to do mine. Whenever they wash it stays clean for a week. When I wash it stays clean for 20 minutes. I think it's what they use.

My dealer does an Amazing job washing my car (especially the wheels). They let me sit in their cars, talk to the salespeople and bake fresh cookies when I'm there. I have never had a better experience at any dealer.

This also reminds me of a time when I was around 10 or 11 yrs old at the Honda dealer (My parents were buying a CRV I think) and I was sitting in their brand new S2000 in the showroom (I think this was after seeing Fast and Furious but I'm not sure) anyway I was turning the steering wheel and making vroom vroom noises when a salesguy came and told me he'd give me the scale model S2000 off his desk if I got out of the car. I don't remember what happened after that but I did go home with that scale model S2000 (My parents thought I stole it). Completely off-topic but it just crossed my mind.

K&N Air Intake is looking real attractive right now.

My dealer washed my car once, so many swirl marks it wasn't even funny. Never again.

Also K&N filter doesn't really do anything, other than let a lot of extra dirt into the engine, for about a 0.5% increase in hp.

Yeah it's not worth it at all. Or are you talking about the drop in filter? That also doesn't really do much either.

Both pod and drop in filters are pretty not worth it.

This is the one I'm talking about:

K&N 69-0026TS Performance Intake Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive K&N 69-0026TS Performance Intake Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive

These Cold Air Intake kits seem to be pretty popular, and I heard that they can alter the car's sound.

That's gonna be pretty much useless without a hondata reflash and performance exhaust.

Yeah it won't really do much aside from alter the sound.
Take out your resonator instead if you want a different sound.

Theres a Hondata reflash for CU2 TSX? So the Air Intake won't do anything as far as sound /hp gains without the reflash?

Will removing the resonator cause problems with emissions? Won't it void the warranty? Are there any inexpensive mods I can do to this car?

Air intake will only change the sound, unless you do the reflash. Resonator delete will give you the same effect, and I'm 75% sure it won't effect emissions.

So no 8hp as advertised gains? I might still do it for the sound. I don't want my car to sound loud, but still a bit louder then stock.

I just have a piece of paper I set on the dash that I printed out. Says to don't wash, detail, or vacuum.

8hp gains? Unless they have a dyno graph proving it, no way.

Yeah then take out the resonator... it's easy, cheap, will get you what you want in terms of the sound and it will not void your warranty.

Also it does not affect emissions in any way..

How hard is it to remove the resonator on the TSX? I'm pretty sure I lack the necessary skill to be removing anything from my car lol. I have a hard time as it is putting pieces of plastic trim back on. With the intake all I have to do is take it to the Honda dealer (listed as an Installer) and let them do it.

It's easy but you need to remove the bumper... literally just popping off a few pieces and it comes right off. and you spend $0 as opposed to spending like $500 getting your K&N installed. Also i don't trust those dyno sheets from the manufacturer, they can claim whatever they want.. does not mean it's true.

Also, does anybody know how to make the maintenence minder for oil come on? or lower the oil life counter? It's been like 6.5k since the last change (and i drive it hard) and the damn thing still won't go on and i want the dealer to change it.
