Need Help....

I have a set of tein basic coilovers. When i twist all them up to about 10 coils and drop the car, the car is uneven.. is this because the shock are blows that why it not even out? i have to mix match the coilover like 5 coils on the left and 9 coils on the right for the car to be even in the front....

I'd check if the coilovers are seated correctly first.

Coilover owners can chime in about the uneven stance...

is this problem in the front or rear? Are the springs on the correct end of the car? (meaning front on rear rear on front?)

if its in the front. did you make sure that the Teins are all the way down in the front forks?? I would check that first and make sure that both the shocks are sitting correctly in the forks before doing anything. or make sure that the springs are both the correct one's meaning that they are not mixed up like fsttyms1 said?

How uneven is it? My mechanic told me that about half an inch difference between the right and left side is normal (can't remember which side is lower than the other) to compensate for how our roads are sloped to one side (this may be an Albertan/Canadian thing).

I'm riding on Basics as well that I bought new and ride perfectly fine. They are all set exactly the same and there is a slight difference in finger gap from left to right. I asked my mechanic about the difference and that's what he told me, so that's what I'm going with (he worked for Honda for 10 years and runs the best shop in my smaller city).

Depending on how much gas you have in your gas tank, the rear of a car with a full gas tank will sag much lower than one with a empty gas tank.
