Mistake of a lifetime! 19"s don't fit
For all of us out there on the quest to find the rim for them, this is the big mistake that everyone should avoid: 19" x 8.5" with +45 offset don't fit. More specificly the axis Hiros and to be even more specific, FUCK WHEELSNEXT.COM. They told me that these rims would fit, also sent me a rim that had splattered paint (gunmetal color) and gouged dime size scrapes into two other rims and then HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING THE DAMN RIMS BACK TO THEM. THe rims are too wide in the front and stick out about a half an inch. This is A BUYER BEWARE FOR WHEELSNEXT.COM: DO NOT BUY RIMS FROM THEM. They ship out defective and damaged rims and find the buyer responsible for the damages that they inflicted on the rims. Please everyone learn from my bad mistake. It costed me $2350, hopefully it doesn't cost you a dime.

just ordred a set of c2's from wheelsnext last week, they will be here tuesday. So far I haven't had any problems, except for the fact that they won't give me a tracking number, which I think is retarded....

Sorry for your misfortune with those wheels. But we all know that 8.5" is way too wide for a 2nd gen TL.
You as a consumer should have done your due diligence to ensure you know exactly what you're buying. Don't take the sellers word for it, they are in the business of making money and closing the sale. And most times they're reading fitment info out of a book with no real world fitment experience with any particular model. Shame on wheelsnext for saying it would fit; but shame on you for not doing your homework. It's a 2-way street....I guess live and learn.

Would cutting that tab off in the back and rolling the fenders make the wheels fit? I am so pissed they are rubbing.
BTW.... what tires did you get? 235s or 225s?

Knowing about your experience, I will at least cut my tabs before putting the wheels on. ill let you know how it goes....

if you guys are running a higher offset like myself with a wider than 7.5" i would roll your rear fenders. The process involves curling the lip of your rear fender so it doesn't rub on the tire/rim when you corner, slam the car, or hit a bump. Mine costed $150- at a creditable shop and they did a clean job. My advice too would be to ask them if they roll the fenders or do the clamp them. When my shop "rolled" my fenders unfortunatly they also flared them slightly. It isn't noticeable when you aren't looking for it, but for a perfectionist, it is very apparent... With the clamp style, you shouldn't have that problem.

i'm getting my fenders rolled this afternoon. I hope they do a good job. I also noticed that I have to get my tires balanced. The guy who sold me the tires told me that the wheels come balanced and rotated. But that is not the case with my wheels

With 19's getting your fenders cut and rolled is a neccisity. Unless it's just you driving and no passengers you are going to rub no matter what on turns. 150 to get your fenders rolled DAMN that's a lot of dough. I did mine myself in about 20 min then I put on coilovers and got a shop to roll them all the way and cut out the plastic fender for 60 bucks.

Get the right offset and forego all this body-altering crap.

It doesn't effect the look and it's a great releif of stress.
1. If you got the right offset regardless of wheel size, you DON'T have to roll your fenders, even with 19's
2. If you got the right offset your tire will NOT hit the fender.
Making an educated purchase will eliminate having to fuckin' alter your car as you are recommending.

Hello...Tell them to listen. Do a search on here. There were plenty of guys (including myself) with 19s and NO ROLLING of the fenders. The only thing that had to be done was trim the infamous rear bumper tab.......
OG TLers rule.....
P.S. as far as how low you could go....how does Ground Controls all the way down
