make em' fit

alright fellas so my bday is april 5. ive made it known for months that i want a new set of rims. so 2 days ago pops gave me a set of sevas rims. now i looooove these rims but theres one problem. they are 19x8.5 but the offset is 35. im pretty sure they'll rub in the rear. what can i do or modify to make these fit. i dont mind rubbing when im going over dips and everything but i just dont them rubbing all the time. by the way the tire size is 225/35/19

Your definitely going to be rubbing all the time. Every dip and bump will rub. It's hard to say, you can roll the fenders and clip the edge of the bumper tab but that can only help so much. I have 18's and a higher offset, I still had to roll and clip the tabs.

Those rims are better suited on a 3G. You can probably run negative camber front and back, but that would eat your tires. And even then it may not fit.

nothing wrong with running negative, thats some bad baller shit.

first run some 225's on them, see if itll fit without a camber kit. if it doesnt, get a camber.

adjust it till it just barely fits, and you should be good.

i love your fitment btw, everyone here on Azing is afraid to do anything lower than +45.
and dont worry about 19x8.5, its been done many times before, even on bags.

Next time you give out information give out good information. Did you tell him he will be replacing tires every 10k because he will be running neg camber? to try to get them to fit??? Oh and 19x8.5 +35 camber hasnt been done many times before.

10K is an exageration.
and you dont know the people that have done those wheel specs, so you cant make that statement either.

the end.

I wouldn't want to daily drive anything with camber like that. A little is one thing, but when the outer edge is a centimeter off the ground, thats another.

ABS will be on any time you brake moderately because you have 150 mm of contact to the road in the rear.
