Just some last minute advice?

Okay, I have searched and I just want to get some final opinions before I start going all crazy and buy all these suspension components.

Here are the Specs first:
I currently drive a 2003 WDP TL Type S

Wheel information:
Stern ST11
Black finish with polished lip
Size 19x8.5
Offset 45mm
Lip Size 2.5"
Hub bore size 73.1 mm

Tire type and size I will be running:
Toyo Proxes 4 P225/35R19

Springs I have now:
Tein S Tech
Eibach sway bars and a Strut bar are in the works now (better handling of course!)

My plan:
Lower the car, and if the rims need to be tucked in then I will do that, by negative camber adjustment. I want to get the smoothest comfortable ride possible although I understand that running this tire and lowering my car there will be a ride harsher than my stock setup. Oh by the way the roads here are not as bad as Chicago, but there are some rough spots here and my car will be used as a daily driver. I plan to just ride these rims for the summer only though.

What I need suggestions on....
Here's where I need advice.... I am stuck between the Tokico Blue or Illumina shock. I have ridden in cars that have the Blue series and the ride was fine, a little stiff but not bad. The benefit of going with the Illumina is that I have the opinion of adjusting the damping and making the shock stiffer or softer I assume? The reason why I am looking at the Tokico shocks is because they are the best deal (price wise) for shocks that I can find from Excelerate. I would love Koni's but they are way out of my price range. So shock opinions of the ride, especially with Tein S-tech springs would be helpful, or if there are any other suggestions that would be great too!

Also, I was wondering, I am planning on rolling my fenders and I don't know what kind of camber kit I should go with. I see the degrees of adjustment, and I was told I may possible need a little bit of negative camber in the rear but I don't know how much? Help with this would be great, and I also plan to purchase this from Excelerate unless someone has a good deal on the BM.

Thanks for everyone's help so far! I have PM'ed a couple of guys and they are sure to post here too.

with a 19x8.5 +45

you won't need a camber kit for the rear to negative it.. i ran 19x8.5 +46 with 245/45/19 and i barely rubbed.. but that was with my rear rolled..

just roll the rear.. no need for camber kit for front or the rear.. get an alignment

go with the blues as the white ones are.... useless imo...

btw.. don't negative it.. the wheels you are getting aren't soo aggressive especially with the tire size you are getting... just gonna be useless..

and when you lower it.. the rear will negative itself slightly.. just when you get an alignment.. tell them to put toe at nuetral and leave camber alone.. if they can.. but if you do get camber kit.. get ingalls... adjust toe and camber with those.. best imo..

alrite just like what Josh said above me id probably go with the blues but imho you should go with eibach pro kit instead gives it more of a drop and tein is so overrated...as for camber you wont need to have any negative camber if your fenders are rolled which is something I would recommend, maybe you'll want to run more aggresive wheels later, who knows.

Im running x9 +42 in my rear and I have no camber what so ever. So you wont need it ethier. If you do decide to get a camber kit id go with Ingalls I believe it comes with camber adjustment and one for toe as well, and toe is what will determine how long your tires last.

hm... interesting.... Artbran is selling some Eibach springs right now for a good price, but I got my Teins for a good price too. I think I probably will keep the Teins because of how the roads are here. I don't need a crazy drop, just something to lessen the wheel gap and bring a nice overall look. Thanks for your input mrchan625 and jjashaa!

I just got the tokico blues and tein stechs from excelerate, great service. I'll let you know how the blues ride once I have them on.

one question though, what the heck is the camber kit for?

Yea!!! Someone who is going to be running my set up! Let me know how it rides and don't forget to take pictures!

As far as the camber kit goes, from my understanding it helps with how your tires are angled in relation to the road itself.

Here's a good article for you:

Okay guys I am in debate now... I am really leaning heavily towards the Bilstein SP series suspension or the Koni Shock Sport Series. I know crazy for me to jump from the Tokico huh? I want to try to get the most comfortable set up. I know that it is the springs that play in a part in the ride quality, but I don't think the Tein S-techs that I have now are really that bad in comparison to the other springs available.

However, the Bilstein seems to be very highly praised and rated but harder to find. I think the best price I found was around 515-530 on Ebay and various other dealers.

The Koni I have had no problem finding and our local vender Excelerate provides them at a great price too. So what are your experiences with these brands, or should I stay with the Tokicos like I had planned?

I don't have a wide variety of people here where I live that I can try and ride in their cars, and that have comparable cars anyways, so I am trying to gain insight through your experiences. Again, any input would be helpful. Thanks!

From what I understand unless you are doing a crazy drop and have wider rims you shouldn't (Rim width and offset play a role in what you will need to do to make them fit not) Most moderate drops should be okay especially if you are going to do a set up similar to mine. If you do coilovers that might be a different story as those give you the ability to go a little lower than a typical Spring and Shock setup.

*Argh... 5 minute rule. hehe

BTW FireNation 23, I don't think that your spring and shock setup is going to require a camber kit, because it would be the same drop that I am going to supposedly or might still have. The only thing you need to worry about is fitting the rims under your car and if you want them flush with the fender or if you want them tucked under the fender. If you want a slightly tucked look you may have to adjust your camber. Some one back me up on this? I think I have the right thinking here. =)
