front suspension questions
Hey guys im doing a front suspension fix
ordered the outer tie rod the end links the ball joint and some other stuff. but im trying to do the main front suspension replaced and then get it aligned and ballanced
it looks like a straight forward fix but im unsure of the specifics i would need to know
does anyone know or have any diagrams about replacing these parts
trying to do as much as possible while im stuck down there thought i would do it all at once

Specifically the driver side upper ball joint. I've done some searching on the forums and discovered (i presume) that Acura doesn't sell just the ball joint, you need to get the upper arm (that includes the ball joint). Or i guess I can get an aftermarket balljoint and rent a ball joint remover to pull out the old, and put in the new.
Am I right in that assumption?

Yeah, Acura sells only the upper control arm as a complete $ unit. There are some good "OEM" quality aftermarket arms available at a significant cost savings. The ball joint replacement along with the bushings and labor involved usually isn't worth the extra effort, when compared to bolting in a new arm. It depends on your ability and access to special tools.
