Eibach Pro-Damper???

I'm picking up a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs from a dude on here.
I'm lookin into (brand new) Eibach Pro-Damper shocks. They seem affordable and are supposed to work well with the springs. Anyone have experience with these? Good? Bad?
BTW I did a search before I posted...couldn't find anything. Any help, thanks.

I asked about these struts when I was choosing a couple months ago. No one seems to have them on this site. I'd think they are comparable to the Tokico HPs, which is what I eventually got.

Yea, they're similarly priced to the Tokico HPs, cept I think they have an adjustable damper...
So I'd have to be the guinea pig on this one!?!?!? A true pioneer of the times!?
I can't believe no one else here has tried them...

The Eibach dampers are not adjustable. They will work with lowering springs but they are never in stock. I actually have a shpment of TOKICO HP's coming in shortly and they work well with lowering springs. $300 shipped now - lower price

Not adjustable? Hmm, I must have read it wrong then...but...
I actually found the Eibach damper kit for $289.00 shipped...I know I was talking about the Tokico's to ya, but when I did some research on A-Zine, I found a couple guys said that the Eibach pro's didn't have a great ride when paired with the HP's...and living in the city with a 2.0" drop, I need the best ride possible (for the price) so how could I go wrong with Eibach springs & Eibach shocks...I guess we'll see...

I had many of the same questions as well. It was disappointing that no one could give much feedback on the Eibach Pro System (springs, dampers). Personally, I would be inclined to favor Eibach's gear as opposed to mixing and matching.

It's my impression that there's just more available gear from Tokico and Koni but no real evidence that they are better . . . just easier to get. I ordered the Eibach Pro-System Plus (including sways) last year but it was out of stock. By the time it became available I cancelled the order b/c so many people were telling me to get coilovers instead.

I finally went with Tein Basic

Harsh ride

Well, I can tell you that the Eibach Pro-Dampers are available. Just call Eibach directly to confirm. I bought mine from the Tire Rack.

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit springs, Eibach Pro-Dampers, and Eibach Anti-roll kit front/rear. I must say that I do not recommend it. WARNING! This is my personal opinion only. I think the ride is way too harsh. My wheels are 19" Falken Torque 5's with 225/35R19 Falken FK455 tires. I know that the 19" wheels and the super-low profile tires are a big contributiing factor to how nasty the ride is, but I just think that it is way beyond acceptable. Many of my friends' cars have similarly modified suspensions with much more ride comfort. My ride is so harsh that over moderate asphalt or concrete imperfections, the vehicle is jarred so violently the dashboard jumps slighlty and makes contact with the windshield at the base. Needless to say, this sort of ride quality has turned my once nearly rattle-free TL into a rattle-trap! Grrr....

I must admit that the car handles brilliantly, though! If you were to build a car for the track, then this suspension setup, with perhaps a lightweight 17 or 18" rim would be fantastic.

I will likely start toying with the setup to see if I can make it ride a little less harsh. First I will trying putting the stock 17" Type-S wheels back on, and if that does not turn out to be a cure-all, I will likely swap the sway bars back to stock. If that does not work, then ultimately I will have to find a more acceptable shock.

Happy motoring!

I could be wrong (happens a lot, but I've gotten used to it), but I seriously doubt the sway bar is going to make much difference.

I'd think the Shock and/or Spring will be what makes the difference. Even if the wheel change works, are you really going to be happy on 17's?

Im with that guy. I have a 03-type s and im ready to mod. I’ve already purchase an used icebox intake and the same seller also has a set of Eibach pro kit springs . The price is right but I don’t see many people running Eibach springs. I’ve had three different cars with Eibachs and I was pleased with all but the sport line series, they were just too aggressive. Any info would be greatly appreciated
