be open to odd things.... the first mk3 vw i seen with older corvette wheels on it was absurd, but yrs later many-a-peeps run those vette wheels on mk3 dubs... (i still hate em cause i dislike american cars)....
theyve also fit mercedes-benz s-class w120 wheels on mk3 vw's... thru the use of adapters and compatible offsets and tire sizes, anythings possible....

un-wad your panties man. you're going to get differing opinions from everyone on here - it's your car, do what you want with it. getting upset shows your lack of confidence in what you proposed and makes you look immature.

domestic bolt patterns do not match ours. btw which wheel were you gonna do? there are a lot of nice ones. heres one. and personally if you are gonna say anything bad about cadillac wheels, atleast please dont have cheap or stock wheels.

Why not? How does one know they wouldnt look good? Just because they are from a GM car? IMHO That car is far better than our TL's. (the 2nd gen CTS) People who think american cars suck need to grow up and get a life and quit being so ignorant.

^^Might want to put some periods in there so your post is easier to read. This an an open forum and people will give you their opinions whether you want them or not, just comes with dealing with forums, so you may need to thicken up your skin.
Sounds like your mind is made up, all you need to do now is maybe call the customer service number for discounttiredirect.com and ask them what the offset, hub bore size (mm) and what the bolt pattern is. To be on the safe side to avoid rub, hopefully the wheel is 8" wide or less and the offset is 45mm or higher.
Good luck in whatever you decide, but seriously..people will talk $hit regardless so don't take it so personally. I personally think the CTS-v's are really nice cars, I would have to see how they would look on a TL though before I really can say for sure. I think the silver wheels may look better than the chrome.

I kind of agree with the OP. Ive seen a .."will these Lexus ___ rims fit my TL" posted in this area and others are willing to help out. Dont hate cause its domestic.
I think those rims would look good on a TL. If I had the resources I would help you out. I also agree with fsttyms, the 2nd gen CTS is a nice car-especially in the CTS-v trim.
Ive had several GM vehicles, and they treated me just fine. American made vehicles have come a LONG way in the last 10 years...

OP, to answer your question No they wont fit. Alot of GM cars(big bodied) use our same bolt pattern with a standard offset of 48.
The 2008 CTS use a 5x120 offset just like Vettes. offsets are different based on options. On the CTS there are 17,18, and 19(cts-v) inch rims. each are different widths and offsets.
Personally ive seen some good looking stock wheels that would look good on our cars. I think if it fits and you like then do it without worrying what anyone else says.
