Would Not Start. (Blinking Green Key light)

Hello All, Went to start the car, put the key in, turned it over, but it never started. This lasted for around 2 mins. When i was tying to start the car, i did notice that the green key light on the dash was blinking, so i *think* that it might be a immobilizer problem. When i noticed this, i took the key out, and put it back in, then the car started no problems, and has been going fine, But the question is, what is on it way out? Is there any fix for this?
Car is 2003 tl-s 65K miles. Thanks!!

When i mean "turned over" i mean that the engine was going off of the starter, but it sounded like there was no gas.. Just turned over and over and over.

That is the immobilizer problem. I had the same issue once but due to auto start from the aftermarket alarm. Do you have auto start?

Immobilizer. I wouldnt worry about it unless it starts to happen more often.

One other thing. Do you have a lot of other keys on the key ring? They can interfere with it
