Wiper light on

My windshield wiper light won't go off. I've filled it but it's still on. Does anyone know why this is happening.

Thanks, that's what I thought it was. Do you know where the sensor is located?

US cars dont have it but i would asume it would have to be in the washer fluid tank (passenger side behind the bumper. Should be able to access it from removing the wheel well splash shield
