I have a problem with my windows in my 2nd gen.

3/4 Windows do not work.
-Driver Window (no click)
-Passenger Window (click)
-Rear Driver Window (click)
-Rear Passenger Window ( works)


I dunno how this works.

 

Please attempt to better describe what is happening. "no click, click, works" doesn't help.
What all have ya checked so far. Maybe a bad switch, relay, motor or mutiplex unit ?

 

Yeah what the "clicks" means?? it makes a noise or something?

 

when i press the button, it clicks/buzz where the window is. Like ill press the passenger window down and i hear a click click noise you know like when you light a stove or something.

 

I also hear the click on mines when you press up or down on any window.
tsaiduk is a good idea to let us know what year is your TL to better help.

My guess is a bad ground connection broken wire on the main widow switch(drivers Door) or burned fuse, check all fuses on the passenger side fuse panel.

Do the easy stuff first, check fuses.

 

Sounds like a motor or the regulator is stuck. If you can hear the click at the signaled window when powered up and down, the switch is good. If you only hear the click one way it would tend to be the switch.You may have to remove the door panels and inspect both. You could try to push a window down while soneoen hits the down buttom and free it up.
