Weird start up, battery? starter? HELP!!!

Hi guys, so today I went to start my car after it sat for the weekend and it wouldn't start. After a couple lengthy tries it started. Then about an hour later. I stopped at the bank and when I tried to start it there it just clicked when I turned the key. Then I tried again and it seemed like it was trying to start but only working half speed. Tried again it was at full starting speed but wouldnt start. Tried again and it started. I have no clue whats going on with it. Some people are saying battery? some starter? Ignition? Please help

While you chk. for corrosion see if any loose cables too. Don't wait until the middle of winter to address it-

Apply some corrosion prevention grease, available at parts stores.

word ^ just get a wire brush to clean the terminals and then put grease on the battery terminals b4 u put the cables back on. it will definately prevent these problems from happening again. once its fully cleaned then have the charging system checked because if u dont the battery might fail due to the corroded terminals and you'll end up buyin a battery for no reason.
