If you have a repair manual on the car, they should highlight testing procedures for the sensors in related to the compressor cooling fan. Check whichever sensor you think might be bad, 01tl4tl named pretty much all sensors that might be faulty. Testing them eliminates have to waste money on a sensor that isn't faulty.

whats the results of the testing we sent you to do?

How far up does the temp gauge go? Almost overheating status? And I think 01tl4tl meant the repair manual procedures. I'm new to the site (I just got mine last weekend) but I've had a '91 Accord and did all the work on it myself since I was 16. Point being, even if you don't have a maintenance book, you should be able to find some test procedures on the site!

Always Working In
according to your description, both fans seem to be operating normally. i think you need to check the sensors. something isnt kicking on when needed or... have you done a coolant flush recently? could be air trapped in your system.

driver fan runs more than 1-2 minutes after shutdown means the fan temp sensor is failing
wont come on when needed during drive, then runs forever afterwards
replace that sensor and I bet the temp situation is resolved
look at passenger side bottem corner of rad- it screws in
see local parts store for new one
burp the system when done- make sure heater is on full hot so its contents are part of the flow during burping--it will hide air from you and cause probs!
