UR Crank Pulley Installed Now check engine Light is on

UR Crank Pulley Installed Now check engine Light is on

I had my UR Pulley set installed not too long ago (its the underdrive set) and wen i gun it and almost redline the check engine light flashes sometimes. anyone ever had this problem or know if it was installed incorrectly? thnx

It just flashes then goes away?

then its just a random misfire code. There wont be any code stored. Its not from the pully or a botched install. How many miles on the car. If the plugs are original you may want to look into replacing them. Give it a while and see if it continues as well.

ok yea i have 71K on the car.. but i changed the plugs to the denso iridums at 60k...ill giv a a while and see if it stops..i appreciate the help

Theres your problem
Those densos are good for maybe 30k for normal driving and you want max power from them= good luck

I suggest a Seafoam treatment to make sure all the inner parts are clean and then install NGK Iridium plugs- or Platinums but use NGK they outlast outwit and outperform the denso

wow ok yea thats a blower i planned on seafoaming asap but good to know now i need new plugs...those are goin in tomorrow morn thnx fellas

just give it some time before you go and replace them. Let the ecu change (learn) any parameters it might and see if it continues
