Anyone found a good place to mount a transmission oil cooler ? I can't believe this car doesn't have a transmission filter or tranmission cooler ! Every Ford, Chevy, Chrysler product I've owned has at least a transmission filter. Ford trucks even come with a plug on the torque converter to change out all 12 quarts of oil. I never really drive the car but for the few times I have the transmission is constantly shifting. I can see why they don't last. I have a 6SP Infiniti coupe that runs circles around the Acura.

The trans not having a filter or cooler isnt the reason they dont last, nor will having a cooler make it last. There is a spot on the drivers side in front of the radiator for a cooler to fit. But like i said having it wont do squat ( i had 4 failures with the cooler). Comparing a 6spd coupe to the tl is like comparing apples to oranges.
