Exclamation Transmission Hose

I was changing some parts on my car when I noticed a loose/unconnected hose on my tranny , here's the picture:

Can you tell me where the hell is this hose supposed to be plugged to?
If you can post an image of the correct place it would be better

So, if it's the breather it's OK to be that way?

yea its just a vent. bend it back down and there is a circular cut out in the bracket nearby that you just plug it into. its ok the way it is now but you risk it getting clogged .

Yes, while it's easy to get to make certain it's not clogged or kinked.

I'll have to take a look into it.

I was worried this could be messing up something else.

Thanks
