Transmission Fluid flush

My 99 Acura Tl has 114000 miles and it never had the transmission fluid changed or flushed and the transmission is still running jsut fine. since it has alot of miles I am thinking about flushing the tramsmission fluid for the firt time. Is this a bad idea? or leave it as is.

I read in some posts that it might cause some problems with the new additives.

Any comments???

i'm not sure what the 99 manual says but if it says to flush it then go ahead. call your dealer if you're unsure. i would imagine it's fine to flush. when you talk cars from 1992 or 1993 then maybe you would worry about the additives eating your bands, but i don't think you should have that issue.

Now this is a new question..................NOT.

Acura does NOT recommend flushes. Drain and refill only

I woudnt flush. Acura recomends against it.

With never having done it at that mileage me myself would really have to filp a coin over that one. If the fluid still looks decent in color then i might do it
