Did it myself, What's wrong?

I rotated my tires today, and now there's a lot of vibration in the car. I also took out everthing related to the air filter(cept for the filter and the box which holds the filter. So i guess my question is why is their vibration? do i really need to take into a tire place and have them "professionally" rotate the tires?

well there are two things to consider.

first, did you bolt all your wheel lugs to the proper torque spec? (i believe 80 ft-lbs of torque per lug)

second, you may need to have your tires rebalanced. that's probably the issue. did you remove or drop any magnets off your wheels by accident? if so then that's the cause.

i doubt you caused any other problems.

It sounds like you have a tire balance issue. Bring the car to a tire shop and have them rebalance your tires

some tires are designed to spin in one direction. They will have arrows on them indicating which direction they need to be facing. You should probably look into that. Usually you can tell by the way the tread is designed too.

another reason for vibration can be that your brake rotors are warped.

Did you tighten the lugs in a star pattern?

no it's not the rotors, i just replaced those and pads, it's gotta be something with the tires. could it be a bent rim? i hit a curb a couple of weeks ago, and bent a control arm, i fixed it myself, but could that impact have effected the rim? i mean after i fixed the arm, she drove fine. only when i rotated there was a vibration. i hope this makes sense to u guys, if not let me know i will clarrify.

Well if you hit a curb hard enough to bend a control arm you sure as well hit it hard enough to bend a rim, knock a wheel weight off or damage the tire. Bring it in and have a place check the tires and rims for any damage and have them rebalance teh tires

If you rotated the tires front to back (FR to BR, FL to BL, etc.) it should not be a directional tire issue, if you moved any tires from the L side to the Right or vice versa, it could very well be the issue...running directional tires in the wrong direction is unsafe and can ruin the tires quickly.

Have you tried rotating the tires back to original position to see if the problem goes away?

Also, check every rim to make sure it has a balance weight (it's rare, if not impossible?? for a rim to be so well balanced it doesn't need a weight), if you are missing one you might have knocked it off while rotating and unbalanced a wheel...

One last idea...when you hit the curb you may have broken an internal radial belt in a tire (or damaged one enough that it eventually broke later), if none of the above works check your tires for any deformity, if you can't notice anything that way, jack the car up and deflate each tire down to very low pressure...a tire with a broken radial will distort badly when not pressurized...if you find one replace immediately...the tire could disintegrate spontaneously at any time...I've had this happen on the hwy @ 80 mph...not fun

Good Luck
