Transmission Electric problem or??

I was driving when my car downshifted to 3rd and so I stopped and after that it is stuck in some kind of limp mode I think. D5 is flashing. My obd codes are:

o2 sensor (not sure which one)
o2 sensor p0134High voltage p1298
P0748 for the solenoid a
the only new one is the p1298.

My #6 fuse under the dash has a short in it. Earlier the oil pressure gauge was blinking but has stopped.

I replaced the ELD which should have fixed the new code but I'm still having the same problem.

Please help. If you need me to explain anything further just ask me please.

the o2 related codes won't impact your shifting.

do you have the service manual? It's time to troubleshoot the issue related to "P0748 for the solenoid a"

It been had given that code though and it's been working fine. This new code popped up after this new problem, so the P1298 has something to do with it, right?

Also, it's acting like the alternator is bad and now I'm stuck somewhere luckily close to pick n pull.

The new code is the high voltage one... That popped up at the same time the transmission issue happened. Now my battery is draining as if it's an alternator issue.

Im Hoping someone has had this same problem and knows how to fix it!

1. Do you have the manual?
2. Try measuring the voltage at the battery with the car off and with the car running. It should be about 12.7 Vdc off and around 14 Vdc running. If the voltage isn't higher when running then the alternator (probably diodes) is bad. You can also test the old fashioned way, start the car and remove the battery cable, if the car remains running the alternator is good (at least then). It will stress the car's electrical.

Ok but why woulld the ECM fuse (driver side under dash) have a short?

The car is in limp mode.

Do those symptoms come due to an alternator issue?

Just to be sure we are on the same page. A fuse is a short. Do you mean the fuse is open (infinite resistance)?
If it is open it had too much voltage or current applied at some point. This can be from almost anything, bad alternator, poor ground somewhere, a power wire making and breaking a connection.
