I was driving home today and my car started getting weird (02TL). I pressed the gas in and it didn't do anything so I pressed harder and then it jumped up to the correct speed, kinda felt like slipping in the tranny. I did this a few times then stop, but I notice that the Check Engine light and TCS light came on. I'm thinking about taking it into Acura tomorrow, just wanted to see if anyone has any idea what could be the problem.

Side note: I had the tranny replace about two years ago.

Go to a auto parts store and have them read the codes for free. Tell us what they are and we can help you better than just guessing.

 

sounds like another dead tranny. Definitely get the codes read and see what they come up with.

 

Thanks guys, I was driving yesterday night and the light turned off and seems to fine. But I'm still gonna go to autozone and have them get the codes.
