creaking coming from steering/suspension

i have a 2002 TL-S with 167k on it

i just noticed like a week ago when i turn with the steering wheel at full lock and hit the gas (like pulling out of my driveway or parking space) theres a creak coming from my front end.

has anyone experienced this? is it a bad bushing? something in the suspension?

thanks in advance

I would check...

PS fluid level.
PS fluid color.
PS pump pulley/belt. (Have someone turn the wheel and listen under the hood)

If not those, then it may be in the suspension.

it doesnt sound like a mechanical noise.

both me and my dad had older 4 wheel drive toyota trucks and when you made tight turns it creaked like a bad bushing or something

but thanks andy, ill check it out

Hmm, you said "hit the gas". Does it only make the noise when you're moving?

a creeking sound is probably a bushing in the suspension.

a clunking sound is probably a wheel bearing or CV joint

sounds like the OP has a bad cv axle or something, especially if he has a vibrater in the car
