Has anyone been able to hook up the stock sub to an aftermarket head unit? I am unsure which wires need to be hooked up to make this work and I've definately tried a few, the most I've been able to do is hear the amp turn on and buzz, but still no sub action. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I need BASS!

I tried doing this but it does not work I wish it was as easy as connecting the two wires..... i think it would work if you hook up an aftermarket amp to the stock sub though.

 

Then iu would have to say you did it wrong. Streeteffects is a Very well known audio installer. Remember with RCA's there are 2 wires in each wire.
