Help

I washed my car the other day and when I went to spray the wheels, I sprayed the rotors as well like I have a choice. My car had no shaking in it to begin with until afterwards. The rotors were hot but I thought nothing about it. Would you guys think that it would've warped the rotor. It was on the passenger front and the wheel shakes bad at high/low speeds. Can I have just that rotor turned or do I have to do all. I've noticed that this has been beat to death but I need help because low low low low on money. It seems that the integrity of the rotor would be damaged since it was hot and cooled off that quick. Thanks in advance. Also how much are we talking for any and all remedies.

Ive never had a issue with water on the rotors before but its possible. Take the rotor off your self and bring it somewhere to have it turned. You dont need to do them all. It should be less than 15 bucks if you have it off and bring it somewhere

thanks

That was the quickest reply ever. Thanks FTTMSY1. Is it real hard to pull the rotors off. I thought you had to have a special tool. Also, it does it more in hot weather and sometimes none at all when real cold. Mississippi weather is odd. Hot, cold, hot, cold, hot, cold. When will it end.

Thats cause the rotors arent actually warping. Just that term gets used. Taking them off is very easy. The hardest part is the 2 screws in the rotor.

I know that braking causes pisspoor brake pads to leave deposits on the rotors, but wouldn't cold water + hot rotors cause true warpage?

Im sure its possible if they were hot enough, but then every time you went to a car wash this would happen, or when it rained and you hit a puddle. Normal driving doesnt make them very hot, now if you were auto xing or something id say its alot more likely
