This morning i bought a new battery for my car cuz my old one was dead i tried jump starting it but nothing so i got a new and now the car turns on but the stereo doesn't, which sucks ass, i have a stock stereo, what do yall think happened?

 

Is it asking for a code? The stock stereo needs a code when the power has been disconnected.

 

yea its asking for a code but i cant seem to find it anywhere in or on the car

 

Well it should have come on a Credit card sized white card that should have been placed in the leather manual case. If its not there look in on the side of the glove box or under the fuse cover under the hood.

Some have had success by pushing and holding the 1 and 6 on the radio to get it.

You may have to pull the radio get the serial # and take it to your dealer to have them look it up
