Just yesterday my stock headunit in my '03 TL started acting funny. When I'm listening to a CD, after a few songs the unit just goes into lockdown mode. So I turn it off and back on and re-enter my unlock code and it takes it. But it happened to me multiple times with a different CD almost each time. BTW I also have the USA Spec iPod adaptor. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

But it happens whether i'm listening to disc 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. The discs are changing properly.

 

My quess is a loose connection. The unit has a split-second interruption in it's power supply, and then power-ups again -- minus the code of course.

 

I had the same problem in my 03 CL w/ Navi after I installed a DICE iPod adapter. When I removed it, the problem went away. I was hoping the USA Spec units would be better....I guess I may be wrong.
