I have a 2000 acura tl with 122000 miles on it i just got the tranny rebuilt i havent even put a 1000 miles on it. Anyway i was leaving my house and got on the gas hella hard and then when i came to a complete stop and then started driving normally it shutters pretty hard going into second. I dont think its the tranny maybe a bad MAP sensor or shit soloenode... Please people give me your opinons!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Havent had a tranny problem yet so I dont know exactly it is as you described. But if that was my car, Ill bring it back to the shop who rebuilt
the tranny & claim a warranty issue & have them check it just for you to eliminate the tranny as the source of the problem.

 

sounds like you beat on it a bit hard too early!!
as said--go to the shop asap and tell them its ~hard shifting~

 

Checked fluid level?

 

oil level is fine. So you dont think a map sensor??? I want to rule that out first before i drive an hour away to where i got the tranny rebuilt.

 

have a parts store do a code ck for you (assuming not Ca resident) its free
if a map or something is out, that will throw a code

how are you cking the atf level?
you have read the acura method I posted many times before? 15 minute on freeway from dead cold-
What type of atf did the shop use?

any other trans shops closer in town?--go there and ask for an opinion

 

Yea i live in california i checked the atf oil the way you described ive read your other posts and threads before. Honda atf was used. There are no cel lights on or anything so therefore i cant have it checked for codes. correct? i guess ill just take it back to the shop
