Shifter Sometimes Gets Stuck in Neutral
I have noticed that sometime my shifter gets stuck in neutral when I shift from D to park. I sometime have to put it back in drive a few times before I can get it to shift back to Park. Thank for any help in advance.

have you tried the shift lock solenoid...the shift gate it has a lock that wont allow you to put the car in gear if you dont have your foot on the brake or if you are going faster than about 9 m.p.h to prevent you from accidentally putting the car in reverse when you are moving

you know that little plastic piece adjacent to the shifter where you can stick a screw driver to release the shifter? its directly below that it requires the removal of all console pieces and the shifter assembly its really not that hard it just takes time and a metal clip is all that holds it in...if you wanted to see if it was going bad you can put a screw driver in the hole and push the white piece downand see if its easier, if its not then you have another problem hope it helps

Transmission is Flaring
I took of the center console and noticed that it seemed as if there was a lot of coffee spillage from the previous owner. The solenoid seemed to be in good shape it went down and popped right back up. I was able to shift the gears while the car was turned off by pressing the solenoid down.
I believe all of my problems with this car comes from the Transmission problem seem to be flaring up. I have read the sticky on Transmission problems and it seems my car displays all of the symptoms mentioned. especially the erratic gear changes and the engine over-revving when I try to accelerate. I took the Car today to a Acura/honda specialist here in Connecticut on the Berlin turnpike. and this was there diagnostic. They also recommended taking apart the whole shifter assembly cleaning it out as it is pretty gunked up from the last owner.
Can anyone recommend anything to do this cleaning up with?
I have replaced the three major motor mounts and the engine still seem to be moving to much. I asked the specialist about this and he is stating this is due to the Transmission not engaging in time and that would cause the Engine to buckled like it does. Does this Make sense?
All of this is very frustrating as I just recently purchased this car in April. I am going back to the guy I bought it from as he has a lot of Tl parts, and see if he has a fairly low mileage tranny in his shop.
Thanks all for you help.
