i have been putting this off for awhile, but since there is a message board i might as well mention it....mirror doesnt change shades at all, the little green light comes on when i press it, but mirror stays one shade 24/7 someone help me for the love of goddd!

 

its been talked about before, do a search. u can aget a free replacment from magna dolly.

ok found the thread, i guess the service has been discontinued..someone said warranty might cover it, what are the terms of this warranty they speak of

 

It was a -goodwill gesture- on the part of the maker Magna Donnly

They were sending replacements if yours has a bubble look to the edges of it, thats
an internal mirror failure.

Did you check with them on the phone?

 

nah i didnt...mine doesnt have any bubbling to it at all...just looks like a plain mirror, doesnt tint at night so headlights are always blinding me...but the mirror is getting power

 

Search the huge rearview mirror thread and find the email address for Dani at Magna Donnelly. I noticed the "bubble" on my 99 TL on Tuesday morning on my way to the office, emailed Dani when I got there, and they shipped out a new mirror that morning. I got it on Thursday afternoon, and installed it that evening! Just ask them, bro. They will take care of you.

 

talked 2 her on the phone today and shes emailing me a claim form...so sounds like shes gonna hook me up..fingers crossed

 

She will. It took less than three hours from the time I first emailed to have my FedEx tracking number. It arrived two days later.
