Problems on getting the shifter out of park!! Help please.

Hola my fellow Acura zine peeps. Well Im currently having a problem with my shifter on my 03 TL-S.

Whenever I have my car in park and I press the brake to take my car out of park. It wont go. I no longer hear the click when you press the brake to release the shifter out of park. Since yesterday I had to start inserting the key into the shift release slot next to my shifter in order to get the car out of park. Also what I noticed is that my brakes lights dont brighten up when I push my brake to release the shifter out of park.

Now Acura told me that it might be the brake release switch or something like that. Has anyone on here ever had this problem before and do they know where this switch is located. Cause If I can replace it myself then I will. Save me some money. Appreciate your help guys, thanks.
