I was driving my car and my car turn off then I turne on againd and the check eng light came on and I put a comp and it said that cylinder 1,2,3,4,5and6 missfire and then I took the comp off and the check eng light turned off and the car is running ok so what that mean what do I have 2 do , I was thinking trading my car 4 a G-35 03. So any one can help me let me know what 2 do.

 

Has the CEL come on since you cleared the code?

 

No but what I want 2 know is if tha is going 2 damage the eng or trans and what u think about trading the car 4 a 04 G35 ?

 

so your thinking of trading the car because a check engine light came on?? those cods could be a couple things. with that many i might be inclined to say a O2 sensor. what year do you have? have warranty? Bring it into the dealer and let them check it out if you do

 

My ashtray is full. I'm thinking of trading mine in too.

I had a whole bunch of cylinder misfires like a month ago... cleared the code and eveything has been fine since. If it comes on again just get it checked out at a shop or the dealer... you prob just need a tune up or like fsttyms1 said have the O2 sensor checked.

 

I had same problem,Just clean your O2 sensors with carb cleaner.

My problem desapeare after I put the comp to the car so you think I should clean it still and thanks.
