So lately, I have been getting the ERROR 1 code on my cd changer and it was really frustrating. What I found out was that if it gives you the error while you are trying to change the CD, you need to knock on it next to where you insert the cd and say,"Hello CD changer, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savoir?"

WORKS EVERYTIME

 

Or you could just replace the oem piece of junk with a good aftermarket hu and not have to bang on or talk to your radio again

 

It's not broken and it still works, so why would I change it? I don't really need a head unit haha. Plus I live in a bad area so that's a big no no.

 

Well if you have to talk to it and bang on it its not working right, You would get better sound with a better HU, Many are removable, and many live in not so good areas with nice stuff and dont have issues.
