Pinstripe removal?

Pinstripe removal?
I own a 03 TL-S ABP. Going down the side of the car is a red & grey pinstripe. How much darker will the paint be under the pinstripe? Or should I just leave it on? Give me your

It'll probably be fine as long as it's not painted on. Just start at the ends and slowly pull it up. Heat will help (think...hairdryer) but is not necessary. Use Goo-gone or bug remover to get the residue off from the glue backing.

No the car is not garage kept...but I wash and wax it every Friday. Ill check it out and do something.. I just think the car would look alot cleaner without it. 
Anyone in this forum have the pinstripe still on that looks elegant? PICS?
