Ive got a 2001 Acura TL
Bought at 80K, now at 105K. Never had any issues with transmission and never even seen check engine light on before

Now the check engine light came on, ran the code P1768 which has something to do with the "manufacturer controlled transmission"

I dont know if the tranny has ever been replaced, i know its a common issue with the 2nd generation TL

My car drives like normal, shifts fine. I dont have time to get it to the mechanic until next month, but I dont use it as my daily driver and plan on putting about 200 miles on it in the mean time, is that ok before I get it checked out? thanks!
