Hi everyone. Great site. Has been very helpful to me. I thank everyone who contributes to the needy such as myself. I have used it often but know I'm stuck.
I have this car with 114,000 miles trans has been smooth with no problems and it now has the P1768 "Manufacture Control Transmission" code, flashing D5 and VSA lights on. The tranny was replaced in Dec.05 during warranty by original owner, my brother. I did a search on this site and it refers to possibly cleaning or replacing solenoids A/B AT Clutch Pressure Control. I am thinking of trying to clean first, then replace if needed. My question is where are these solenoids located on the trans. I don't think this is the kiss of death code. is it? Thanks All.

 

Found the solenoids under the battery tray. Found a connector on one of the solenoids disconnected. Must have happened when I replaced the front motor mount.
